What is the opportunity?
CACEIS Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting European countries across various geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of the operational processing hubs supporting custody, transaction management, settlements, NAV production, fund reporting, shareholder services, global fund platform services, data service delivery, entitlements and reconciliations.
As an Assistant Manager of Clearing Services, you will manage day-to-day clearing ETD activities, including trade flow monitoring, post-trade reconciliation, client reporting and trade data control. The position requires experience in operations and familiarity with ETD products. You will work proactively and collaboratively on multiple tasks with minimal supervision while maintaining close attention to detail.
What will you do?
- Ensure quality and timely sign-off for clearing processes, including trade flow monitoring, post-trade reconciliation, client reporting and trade data control.
- Ensure queries are managed effectively and escalated to the Manager in a timely manner.
- Sign off on end-of-day controls and check requirements.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure high-quality service.
- Implement processes for team efficiencies and participate in business improvement projects.
- Ensure procedures are updated in accordance with internal and client policies, adhered to and defined where necessary.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience.
Must have:
- Knowledge of ETD products and the trade lifecycle.
- Experience leading initiatives, managing projects and cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to manage operations while acting as a subject matter expert.
- Strong interpersonal, networking, organizational and time-management skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Excel and Access.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Bloomberg and UBIX.
- Fund accounting background.
- Strong teamwork and analytical thinking.
