Assistant Manager, Cash Services - PERES Operations M/F

What is the opportunity?

CACEIS Malaysia has been a cornerstone of asset servicing since 2008, evolving into a trusted hub of operational excellence within the global CACEIS network. Strategically located in IOI City, Putrajaya, the company employs over 1,200 skilled professionals and provides services to institutional clients across Europe.

Working hours are 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Malaysia time. The role supports the Luxembourg region.

What will you do?

Production and Supervision

• Oversee and supervise day-to-day cash processing for Depository Operations and Investor Services, including cash and security tracking, breaks management, cash investigation, manual cash entries, and control metrics.
• Ensure essential checks are completed and outstanding items are recorded and cleared.
• Adhere to service level agreements and support coaching for junior team members.
• Perform quality checks or second-level validation on team output.
• Monitor deadlines, escalate issues, and communicate appropriately with stakeholders and clients.
• Support the manager in guiding the team and act as the main contact when the manager is unavailable.

Monitoring and Escalation

• Act as an escalation point for Cash Services oversight and complex processes and controls.
• Monitor individual and team performance, provide feedback and coaching, and address obstacles affecting progress.
• Allocate resources daily according to operational needs.

Risk Management

• Maintain documented and effective process controls and procedures.
• Suggest controls and procedure improvements to mitigate errors.
• Maintain comprehensive records for audit and future reference.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant operational knowledge and experience.
• Technically proficient in Cash Services controls and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and networking abilities.
• Knowledge of NXG, Olis, Caciopay, or equivalent transaction management applications.
• VBA, Python, or macro automation skills are an advantage.
• English language proficiency.
