Purpose
Assist with driving the store’s profitability by:
- Meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets.
- Managing resources within the store to provide customers with a leading shopping experience.
- Driving the proper execution of established policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives.
Key Accountabilities
- Own store performance by monitoring resource allocation and organizing processes to drive profitability.
- Use store and market data to make commercial decisions based on sound analysis and financial judgment.
- Support and coach the store team on operational best practices and consumer experience.
- Understand consumer behavior and coach the store team to meet or exceed expectations.
- Create and drive a consumer-centered service culture.
- Communicate and demonstrate adidas Brand Values and the NAM Retail Mission.
- Implement seasonal brand and product training and transfer knowledge into selling skills.
- Partner with the General Manager on HR planning, recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and succession planning.
- Set expectations and targets, analyze performance, and provide prompt feedback.
- Coach, motivate, and inspire the store team to accomplish goals and maximize performance.
- Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead service by example and ensure effective consumer service management.
- Collaborate with peers and share best practices to drive District team performance.
- Seek opportunities for personal development and improved performance.
Knowledge, Capabilities, and Experience
- Excellent skills operating personal computers, POS systems, and software including Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements and store KPIs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, problem-solving, and independent decision-making skills.
- Inspirational attitude and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English.
- Reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically by car and air.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work 10–12 hours per day during peak seasonal periods.
Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree in business, retail management, or a related field.
- At least three years of retail experience, including a minimum of 18 months of store management experience.
- Experience managing high-level retail image and delivering an in-store consumer experience.
- Geographical mobility preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The anticipated base pay range is $85,000.00–$95,000.00. Actual salary depends on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
