Job Description

Joining Capgemini Engineering, you’ll work at the heart of complex Mergers & Acquisitions IT integration programmes, collaborating with global business partners and newly acquired entities to ensure seamless transitions into enterprise-standard environments.

Your Role

As an M&A IT Integration - Application Specialist, you will play a key role in documenting, rationalising, and managing the application landscape of newly acquired entities, ensuring their successful migration into our GBS standard application environment.

• Develop and lead the ongoing assessment of application stacks from acquired entities, defining migration, integration, or sunset strategies aligned with the broader enterprise IT roadmap.
• Collaborate with GBS Standard Application teams to provide accurate estimates, timelines, and integration roadmaps for application migration programmes.
• Document application workflows, dependencies, and processes to support integration stakeholders and ensure transparency across the programme.
• Manage deliverables and provide regular executive summaries to key business and IT stakeholders, clearly communicating the impact of migration activities on business operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate business and IT functional areas, acting as the key point of contact for application ownership across acquiring and acquired teams.

Your Profile

• Demonstrated experience with application migration and/or integration, including application development, modification, and maintenance across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Ability to document and analyse application workflows, dependencies, and processes and translate technical detail into clear business-facing communication.
• Experience with cloud-based applications and enterprise application ecosystems; knowledge of direct/employee benefits and products is an asset.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical teams and senior business leaders in complex, multi-party programmes.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in an application specialist, IT integration, or related role.
