Job description
You will join the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) division, within the ETI division of the Auvergne Rhône Alpes Méditerranée region, based in Lyon (Champagne au Mont d'Or). You will support six coverage bankers and work with the bank's various departments, including business lines, Compliance, Commitments and the trading room.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the regional front-office sales teams, particularly with prospecting and financial analysis of counterparties.
- Analysing proposed corporate and investment banking transactions, including client business plans, key structural and profitability ratios, liquidity and solvency, and the counterparty's competitive positioning.
- Supporting the monitoring of transaction and client portfolios, particularly KYC activities.
- Assisting with periodic reviews in accordance with bank procedures.
- Collecting the documentation required to update client and prospect files.
You will complete your internship in an international environment, supported by your tutor as you develop your skills and professional network.
Profile
You are studying at a university, business school or engineering school, specialising in banking or corporate finance. A postgraduate degree or equivalent is required, with 0–2 years of experience.
Required skills include financial analysis, proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and fluent French and English. Intellectual curiosity, rigour, autonomy and adaptability are also expected.
