Contribute to the future of Mercedes-Benz Financial Services China by leading the change in AI innovation—build innovative solutions, drive rapid prototypes, and scale AI to new heights. As part of the AI Hub team, this position delivers AI-powered and data-driven solutions that help the organization achieve efficiencies and excite customers.

Develop and evaluate Gen AI, AI, and data use case applications using large language models, machine learning techniques, and data analytics to address key business challenges.
Lead the rapid development of proof-of-concept AI applications to demonstrate value and technical feasibility.
Develop and deploy enterprise AI solutions that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable in production environments.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of foundation infrastructure for future AI and Gen AI use cases.
Contribute to and share best practices, know-how, and participate in relevant technical discussions and governance forums as a subject matter expert.
Continuously research and evaluate new AI technologies and techniques to keep Mercedes-Benz Financial Services China at the forefront of AI innovation in the auto finance sector.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.

Specific knowledge:

Strong proficiency in software development principles, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Strong expertise in programming languages commonly used in AI and machine learning development, including Python and Java, and agent-based architectures such as AI agents and workflow orchestration.
Familiarity with the LLM application stack, including LangChain, Dify, Hugging Face, and PyTorch, and techniques such as RAG and embeddings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Data engineering experience is a plus.
Financial services or banking experience is a plus.
Experience working in on-premises or regulated environments is a plus.
