Objective of job
Lead the security strategy for Mercedes-Benz's AI initiatives, ensuring the protection of AI systems and data assets from evolving threats and vulnerabilities. Champion the integration of robust security practices throughout the AI lifecycle and foster responsible AI development across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and integrity of Mercedes-Benz's AI systems and data.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with AI technologies.
- Protect AI models from adversarial attacks, data breaches, data poisoning, model theft, prompt injection, and other threats.
- Design and implement security frameworks and architectures for AI and machine learning systems, including cloud-based environments.
- Develop security standards, procedures, protocols, and governance documentation for AI systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
- Integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines and implement access controls, encryption, and other security mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, privacy requirements, standards, and frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC, and NIST.
- Participate in incident response activities and investigate security breaches.
- Design and lead security awareness training for AI development teams.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and technologies.
- Knowledge of AI security risks and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and intrusion detection systems.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
- Familiarity with AI compliance standards and frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, Certified AI Security Professional, or other cybersecurity or AI certifications.
- Proven cybersecurity experience with a focus on AI security.
- Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, including model development, deployment, and security.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, or machine learning.
