Aftersales Technical Documentation & Repair Methods Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Research and analysis of engineering data, including 3D CAD.
• Develop digital repair and maintenance methods.
• Evaluate and develop repair concepts in EC, independently or via DVR.
• Document repair methods in the database.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the various carlines and engine types in Mercedes-Benz cars.
• Coordinate with different departments for updates.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the specified working area.
• Research and analyze the Daimler AW-System based on MTM-Systematic.
• Optionally plan the AW-System for new car models in DC-Repa (Daimler AW-Tool).
• Optionally derive standard times via MTM-Systematic, including repair times for workshops.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in aftersales, technical documentation, simulation, or publication.
• Good knowledge of automotive components and systems and their functioning.
• Experience in car repairs and maintenance is useful.
• Experience in 3D CAD data analysis is required.
• Experience with an Engineering Change Management system.
• Knowledge of computer programming and German is an advantage.
• Knowledge of key aftersales processes in Mercedes-Benz workshops is desired.
