Your role
As an Aerodynamic Operations Engineer specialising in Low Pressure Compressors, you will play a key role in solving complex aerodynamic challenges in both production and in-service environments, ensuring that certification margins are maintained and operational efficiency is continuously improved.
In this role you will play a key role in:
- Addressing technical issues arising in production and service environments, assessing the aerodynamic impact of manufacturing deviations and proposing practical, robust solutions that maintain certification margins.
- Managing concessions and non-conformities, ensuring timely and technically sound resolutions that meet both regulatory and operational requirements.
- Supporting fleet and maintenance shop operations, responding to customer technical requests and defining maintenance criteria and repair solutions.
- Driving process improvement and cost reduction initiatives, contributing to the optimisation of production and service engineering workflows.
- Supporting the certification of modifications and new applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure full compliance with airworthiness standards.
Your Profile
We are looking for a technically strong and customer-focused engineer who thrives in an operational environment and brings both analytical depth and practical problem-solving to every challenge.
- Engineering degree specialising in Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven aerodynamic engineering experience, ideally with exposure to turbomachinery.
- Solid knowledge of CFD tools and Python.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand tolerancing, with a strong grasp of production processes and service engineering environments.
- Fluency in French and good command of technical English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to prioritise under pressure.
