HEINEKEN Beverages has an exciting opportunity available for a suitable candidate for potential placement in its Cellars department. This position will be based at Wadeville Production.

Key Performance Areas

  • Achieve production requirements against targets.
  • Ensure strict adherence to stock take procedures.
  • Compile weekly bulk requirement reports.
  • Manage the decant area.
  • Administer process flow.
  • Monitor cellar bulk movements.
  • Compile weekly and monthly reports.
  • Create requisitions for the purchasing of raw materials and consumables.
  • Monitor production data and records on SAP.
  • Manage administrative functions of the Cellar.
  • Support solutions and innovations that contribute towards continuous improvement.
  • Maintain established networks with suppliers, service departments and internal customers.
  • Liaise with the Production Planner regarding bulk requirements.
  • Implement initiatives of business plans.
  • Attend daily cross-functional production meetings.
  • Reflect good leadership behaviour towards colleagues and superiors while upholding company values.
  • Assist Cellar Team Leaders with blending and ABM.

Requirements and Skills

  • Grade 12.
  • Two to three years of administrative experience will be beneficial.
  • Structured and organised approach.
  • Good leadership qualities.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills; bilingualism is beneficial.
  • English proficiency is essential.
  • Experience executing administrative functions on the SAP system would be beneficial.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel competence.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good product knowledge.
  • Ability to plan and organise cellar activities.
  • Strong inter- and intra-personal skills.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure.
  • Ability to action tasks spontaneously without being urged.
  • Active team player.
  • Ability to deal with conflict using a problem-solving approach.
