Objective of Job

Responsible for ADAS customer function release to the overall vehicle, quality department, and final customer.

Review specifications of related functions with the customer function owner to ensure testability and clarify the requirements to be tested in each release based on function status.
Define test and release strategies for corresponding functions, including test allocation between digital platforms such as SIL and HIL and vehicle testing.
Translate requirements into scenario-based test cases for digital platforms and vehicles, and organize test case reviews with related partners.
Cooperate with the digital platform team for digital testing execution.
Prepare test plans for digital platforms and vehicles based on test scope, ensure execution quality, evaluate test results, and deliver the final maturity report for release decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in vehicle engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, computer science, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in vehicle EE, ADAS, or CarIT.
Solid experience with ADAS customer functions and understanding of function behavior at signal level and end-to-end system level.
Practical experience in scenario-based ADAS testing, including requirements analysis, test scenario design, test case derivation, test scope definition, and release maturity evaluation.
Practical experience in ADAS test automation on digital platforms such as SIL and HIL, including test script development, automated execution, and CI/CD regression testing.
Practical experience in ADAS in-vehicle testing, including real-road and proving-ground tests, measurement setup configuration, log data capture, failure reproduction, and result analysis.
Basic project management and MS Office skills. ISTQB certification is beneficial.
Good driving skills and an OEM internal driver license are beneficial.
Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global, multicultural environment.
Independent and proactive working style with a hands-on engineering mindset and willingness to travel in China and abroad for system testing when required.
Knowledge of vehicle perception and control systems, including powertrain, ESP, and steering systems.
Familiarity with measurement and analysis devices such as CANoe, ABD, and RTrange.
Familiarity with digital testing toolchains, including SIL, HIL, simulation environments, and automated regression testing.
Ability to trace failures from log data to root-cause components.
Knowledge of AI/ML fundamentals and hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and LLM-assisted coding.
