ADAS Algorithm Engineer - Longitudinal Control 智驾纵向控制算法工程师

Tasks

• Develop, integrate and validate methods and algorithms with a strong focus on vehicle control for driving and active safety features.
• Develop vehicle control algorithms from planned trajectory to chassis control interface for series products.
• Establish and continuously improve a data-driven development framework to iteratively improve the control system.
• Define and maintain chassis actuator functional and performance requirements, including brake and powertrain systems.
• Analyze and resolve actuator-related issues on track and during driving, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cooperate with internal and external algorithm experts in China and Germany on automated driving and driver assistance systems.
• Work with the onsite project team, German counterpart teams and suppliers on autonomous driving system requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in vehicle engineering, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field.

Experience: Industrial experience in robotics or ADAS/AD software development; experience developing ADAS functions such as AEB, ACC and NGA; familiarity with MPC, LQR and PID control algorithms for autonomous driving and basic knowledge of state-of-the-art planning; hands-on experience with AD platforms such as ROS, Autoware or Apollo; practical software engineering knowledge on Linux or QNX is preferred.

Specific knowledge: Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial. Strong C++ and scripting skills, including Python. Experience with source code management, unit testing, code review and issue tracking systems; experience with ADAS chassis control interfaces such as ESP and EPS; intercultural competence and communication skills; independent and proactive working style; willingness to travel in China and abroad for system testing.
