Accounting Team Manager - Private Equity and Real Estate Solutions H/F

You will join the Private Equity and Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which provides a comprehensive range of services to private equity, real estate and securitisation funds, adapted to each investment strategy.
As Accounting Team Manager, you will ensure the optimal operation of the accounting activity, lead and supervise the team, and contribute to the development of the service.
Responsibilities
- Understand and implement priorities defined by management and the department head.
- Define operational priorities, set objectives and deadlines, and organise the team's work accordingly.
- Ensure tasks are completed to the required quality and deadlines and that objectives are achieved through KPIs.
- Provide the team with technical accounting and consolidation support and expertise.
- Ensure service continuity by anticipating resource requirements.
- Monitor the balance between workload and allocated resources.
- Report to management and escalate alerts and issues.
- Communicate process and procedure changes and ensure their implementation.
- Act as an escalation point for clients and oversee relationships with clients and investors.
- Build team spirit, motivate employees and support them when difficulties arise.
- Train employees and develop their skills.
- Set individual objectives and assess employee performance.
- Involve the team in discussions and decision-making.
- Participate in the selection of new recruits and manage and lead the teams.
- Participate in cross-functional projects.
Qualifications and experience
- Postgraduate degree in Audit-Accounting or Finance, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in private equity or real estate funds.
- Successful team management experience is required.
- Knowledge of investment funds, securities and private equity/real estate activities.
- Knowledge of accounting and tax techniques, including IFRS and LuxGaap.
- Strong accounting skills and knowledge of legal and financial matters.
- Organised, rigorous and detail-oriented, with analytical, interpersonal, leadership and initiative-taking skills.
- Ability to anticipate, plan and react.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of BOB50, GPC, YARDI or similar accounting software is beneficial.
- Knowledge of consolidation software, ideally Mona (Sigma).
- Fluency in French and English is essential.
