Your Role
As a Junior Cloud Data Engineer in Capgemini's Academy Program, you will develop expertise in modern data and cloud technologies through structured learning and hands-on work on real business projects. You will gain experience in data processing, cloud platforms, and data pipeline development alongside experienced professionals.
Location: Aguascalientes, Mexico
Responsibilities & Scope
- Support the development, maintenance, and monitoring of data pipelines and data processing workflows.
- Use SQL for data extraction, validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Assist with cloud-based data engineering tasks using Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technical teams on data solutions.
- Support data quality initiatives and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Contribute to performance improvement and optimization activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, team meetings, and training sessions.
- Learn and apply data engineering best practices and cloud concepts.
- Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience through internships, academic projects, traineeships, or professional work.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Basic understanding of data management, databases, SQL, data processing, and ETL concepts.
- Preferred exposure to Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, Snowflake, Python, data analytics, cloud computing, or Agile methodologies.
