AI Engineer

Job Overview

Designs and implements AI and machine learning solutions to improve manufacturing and business processes. Works with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into production systems and decision-making, supporting the full AI lifecycle from development to deployment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy machine learning models and AI applications using TensorFlow, Spark MLlib, and other AI tools for natural language processing, data mining, and unsupervised learning.
• Conduct model training, validation, and deployment.
• Use AWS and other cloud services to deploy and scale AI applications.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate AI solutions using Java, Python, R, SAS, VBA, and other languages.
• Define and track KPIs for AI solutions.
• Support budget tracking and ROI evaluation for AI projects.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Looker or similar tools.
• Perform root cause analysis using AI techniques.
• Ensure data governance and compliance.
• Document models and provide training.
• Manage AI-related projects and timelines.
• Stay current with machine learning frameworks, NLP techniques, big data technologies, and emerging AI trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of AI/ML or data engineering experience preferred.
• Manufacturing or automotive experience preferred.
• Knowledge of TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python, cloud platforms, data analysis, and databases.
• Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, model training and deployment, Hadoop, Spark, Talend, ETL, SQL databases, and database design.
• Knowledge of natural language processing techniques and applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
